Character: Eizen Canon: Tales of Berseria/Zestiria, about 200 pre-Zestiria right after chomping down on a Lord of Calamity and getting dragon'd. Or getting dragon'd and chomping down on a Lord of Calamity. It's not clear which came first. Age: Around 1800 years old Character Bio:Wiki
Essence: Davy Jones (mixed in with some other sailing mythology) Essence Gains: Well, for starters, he'll be able to swim without his floaty. Otherwise, Eizen will be able to summon a small localized tidal wave (a few gallons, tops) and with some practice will be able direct and shape it enough so that he can avoid getting wet if he wants to. He will also be able to weaponize his own Reaper's Curse in a much more direct way; basically, he can damn somebody and give them some really nasty bad luck. This bad luck only works for the next attack or roll or whatever he's damning them for, however, and he can't damn the same person more than once per day.
Also he can summon a ship provided he has a bundle of wood on hand (and is in an area that can hold the ship). At first it'll just be a really terrible raft, with a chance of getting upgraded, and there's a chance he won't summon anything but use up the wood instead. He'll always be able to summon booze of various sorts, however, though it's type and quality will vary with each summon. One time he'll call forth the finest aged whisky, the next time it's an ale that's "paint stripper" levels of awful.
He'll always know which way true north is, never seems to get wet unless he wants to, and if he's standing in his tidal wave or another source of saltwater, he can look like an absofuckinglutely horrifying mix of a kraken, a dragon, and some nameless horror ala an umibozu. It only lasts for a few seconds and doesn't grant him any powers other than looking terrifying.
Questions: I'm assuming Eizen's bad luck domain is still active here, just way less likely to end in daemons or death and with a smaller area of effect?
