Essence: The Ugly Duckling | ...The Ugly Duckling Essence Gains: Transformation into a swan: In the beginning, Rudy will only be able to manage partial transformations or a full transformation for a limited time. He'll also have to learn to fly on his own. Feather knives: He'll be able to shoot feather knives at enemies, with the number and distance increasing over time. It could also develop into him using feathers as if they were knives. Affinity for water: Rudy's ability to swim and manoeuver in water will greatly increase. Being in full swan form will increase it further. Water magic would have to wait a while, as he is very much not magically inclined. Wing shield: He will be able to protect others with a giant wing!
The lovely birds...: His quirk will be a fear of or feelings of nervousness about beautiful people! So he doesn't end up being terrified of basically everyone, I'm restricting this to characters who are canonically described as beautiful or people he personally thinks are beautiful.
Rudy will be losing his ARM and his ability to use them, which is going to be a bit of a blow as he's been able to use them for as long as he can remember. It might even be a bit traumatizing, as the last time his ARM stopped working was not a fun time. However, he won't know anything is wrong until he actually gets it back.
